Formative Pruning

Carried out to improve visual form, and remove defects from trees.

Lifting

Removal of lower branches to increase clearance beneath the canopy.

Thinning

Removal of secondary branches from within the crown to reduce its density, lessening wind resistance and leaving a balanced tree with even growth throughout.

Crown Cleaning

A remedial operation for the removal of all defects i.e. diseased or dead wood, crossing or rubbing branches, etc.

Crown Reduction & Reshaping

Removal of outer branches back to suitable growth points to reduce the crown’s overall size, or selected areas in order to reshape asymmetrical crowns.

Assurance

All pruning and felling operations are carried out in accordance with BS3998/2010, Approved Codes of Practices (ACOPS) and the Arboricultural and Forestry Advisory Group (AFAG). All our workforce are fully experienced and qualified.
Sometimes a tree needs to be removed for safety reasons, including infection or rot, or leaning dangerously, near to cables, highways or rail track.
Arb Response will safely remove any tree regardless of size, location or condition. We will undertake a site specific risk assessment on every job. This will determine the quickest and safest way to remove the tree. The removal of the tree is then carried out using the appropriate equipment operated by fully trained professionals.
When safety is an issue Arb Response will act quickly and efficiently to ensure minimum disruption to local communities and businesses.

Reports

Arboricultural Reports can be carried out for many reasons; new developments, tree stock management, concern for individual trees and so on. Arb-Response has all types of clients, from individual homeowners with single trees to large corporations, and Local Authorities responsible for whole tree populations.
We are experienced in compiling complex and detailed reports for tree health and condition.

Surveys

Tree surveys can be supplied in various formats. These include a simple spreadsheet, containing as much information as a client requires, through to digitally plotted maps in an electronic format that can be updated by the client. Arb Response have a team of experienced surveyors who use the latest in digital hardware and software to ensure accuracy. Working closely with professional surveyors, we are able to integrate large-scale topographical surveys with up to date tree survey data.

Visual Tree Assessment

Arb Response are committed to increasing our professional development, and we regularly attend training courses to keep up to date with the latest techniques and methods in Visual Tree Assessment (VTA). From here we can, where necessary, carry out VTA stage 1,2 & 3 surveys using state of the art detection tools. We offer indemnified advice and recommendations to good arboricultural practices.
